We used Checkmate to move my parents from a large house to a much smaller house. They are quite elderly and this was not an easy move. The packers arrived on time, and not only worked efficiently, but were so patient and understanding with my parents who kept trying to "help." The moving crew handled everything as if it were the most valuable piece they'd ever moved, and they didn't complain at all about the dog or my parents getting in the way. Everything was placed in the house just as we requested. Furniture was put together. They even repaired the dryer for us as they installed it. Not only was the move handled perfectly, but they were the least expensive and most responsive when I was getting estimates. The icing on the cake was the final cost was below the estimate! I can't say enough about what a great company this is.
I only moved across town, but Jonah & Josh were fantastic! They were quick. but treated all of my things with care and were very careful moving them in and out of the residences. Two super nice guys for sure! I would definitely call on Checkmate Moving & Storage to move me or recommend them to others!
I had one of the best moving experiences because of Checkmate Moving. The guys on the team were incredibly professional and helpful. They took apart and rebuilt numerous pieces of office furniture, moved dozens and dozens of boxes, and helped to situate our new space in the matter of a couple hours. It was the most painless moving experience. I would recommend them to anyone!
I used Checkmate Moving and Storage to move from Colorado to another state. Everyone at Checkmate was terrific to work with from the packing/moving quote, to the packers and the moving crew. I packed some of my belongings myself and had Checkmate pack what was left. At one point I spoke to Barrett about needing picture boxes and I must have sounded stressed because she was so kind on the phone and reassured me not to worry, that their packers would take care of it. The packers were amazingly efficient and in observing how they worked together and their conversation, it was obvious they enjoyed their job and really liked working together. The moving crew on both ends were terrific. Since the move was out of state, Tom was very considerate in keeping in touch with me, letting me know when they were leaving Colorado and when they expected to arrive in my new state. Tom even gave "interior designing" advise on how to arrange my furniture in my new home :-). I cannot say enough good things about Checkmate Moving and Storage. They are a family owned business and it is refreshing to conduct business with a company who is not all "corporate" and cold ... it felt more like I had friends and neighbors helping me. Thank you, Checkmate, for making my move such a pleasant experience!
