I gave it two stars because they had what I was looking for, but this is the worst imaginable service (read none). It took 45 mins to find any help and once I got what I needed another 10+ to find someone to help load it since I was on my own. Not worth it and makes me never want to shop at Home Depot again. Next time I’m going to Lowe’s or Ace.
They are friendly and helpful here, even giving tips on where to go if they don't carry what you are looking for. For paint: mixing is fast and accurate. For tools: there is always someone there to show you how to use it. For rentals: totally worth it! Don't buy that expensive equipment, just rent it for the time you need. Yes, it's a big box store, but with the local staff, it feels like a hardware store should.

Do not buy appliances from Home Depot. Terrible experience. Lady who sold them had a side business she was more excited to tell me about than getting order right. Order is still incorrect 2 weeks later and sitting with a washer and dryer that is not hooked up. Managers never can help. Delivery service never shows up when they say. 3 different times sat around the house and still inept.
I'd say it's a pretty normal Home Depot, except the staff is exceptionally helpful. I was looking for lighting the other day, and even though they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, the employee I was talking to was extremely knowledgeable in lighting and recommended specific light intensity and temperature for my specific setting. Great interaction.
Oh yeah, and when I asked the lady at the self checkout she said "no!" In such a rude way it was as if I had asked her to borrow $50 of her own money.
It's been 4 years since apple launched Apple Pay and you still can't use it at Home Depot. Would have been nice. Left wallet at home but never leave my phone.
